Software Engineer (Go Lang)

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of a self-organized agile team to build, own, and run web applications and cloud services
• Contribute to all aspects of cloud service development, including backend, front-end, DevOps, and quality
• Build responsive UIs that conform to UX guidelines and work across multiple form factors
• Assist in service operations, including monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into elegant implementations
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement regarding scalability, reliability, usability, and security

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Expertise in one or more programming languages: Go, Java, or JavaScript
• Solid understanding of software design, architectural patterns, and cloud design paradigms
• Proven experience building high-performance, high-availability services at internet scale
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to debug complex technical issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices
• Experience leveraging or contributing to open-source projects
