Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain moderately complex code using both front-end and back-end programming languages across multiple platforms.
• Create and deliver program specifications for code development and support for internal and external client software solutions.
• Perform analysis, modification, and unit testing to develop concise application documentation and ensure code quality.
• Participate in client-facing meetings and vendor partnership discussions to determine optimal solution approaches.
• Advise leadership on the design and enforcement of application standards, including PCI security compliance.
• Provide technical expertise and on-the-job training to other software engineers.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/MIS, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
• Advanced knowledge of two or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, .NET, Ruby).
• Experience working with various APIs and external services.
• Proficiency with both relational and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development and data analysis.
• Experience with IBM Rational Tools.
