Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain software solutions across the full development life cycle using various programming languages and architectures.
• Create, code, debug, test, and implement both front-end and back-end applications for internal and external client solutions.
• Analyze existing applications and formulate logic for new procedures, flowcharting, and program debugging.
• Participate in client-facing meetings and vendor partnership discussions to determine optimal solution approaches.
• Support the enforcement of business and infrastructure application standards, including PCI security compliance.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to other software engineers.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/MIS, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
• Advanced knowledge of one or more modern programming languages and a working understanding of corresponding front-end or back-end technologies.
• Proven experience working with various APIs and external services.
• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development and data analysis.
• Experience with IBM Rational Tools.
