Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain complex software solutions across multiple platforms throughout the full software development life cycle.
• Create and deliver program specifications for code development and support for both internal and external client solutions.
• Perform in-depth analysis, unit testing, and validation to ensure code quality and provide systemic proposals for corrective measures.
• Participate in client-facing meetings and vendor partnership discussions to determine optimal solution approaches.
• Advise leadership on the design and enforcement of application standards, including PCI security compliance.
• Provide technical expertise and on-the-job training to other software engineers.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/MIS, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
• Advanced knowledge of two or more modern programming languages (front-end and/or back-end).
• Proven experience working with various APIs and external services.
• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development and data analysis.
• Experience with IBM Rational Tools.
