Software Engineer, Generative AI

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, secure, and scalable generative AI services and applications using Python
• Build and optimize high-performance, low-latency APIs and microservices to integrate advanced AI models and agentic workflows
• Make meaningful system design decisions and own the architecture of core platform components
• Implement and maintain responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and DevOps engineers to drive product evolution
• Partner with DevOps to build continuous deployment, logging, and monitoring systems

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer with a strong emphasis on Python
• Proven expertise in building and deploying generative AI applications using LLMs and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector)
• Practical experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid grasp of modern web technologies including FastAPI, Asyncio, and PostgreSQL
• Exposure to enterprise architecture including IAM, SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, or RBAC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leveraging AI developer tooling like Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot to accelerate workflows
• Ability to mentor other engineers and drive technical improvements proactively
