Software Engineer (Gameplay)

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable code to support gameplay features and mechanics
• Create and maintain tools for designers and artists to improve their workflows
• Integrate tools with existing content creation pipelines
• Collaborate with team members through code reviews and established development processes
• Debug and solve software issues to provide effective solutions
• Maintain clear and concise documentation for code and project-related materials
• Communicate progress, challenges, and updates to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in game development
• Proficiency in C#, Node.js, or C++
• Strong experience in gameplay engineering, including AI, RPG, multiplayer, and network systems
• Proven track record of shipping titles on Console, PC, or Mobile
• Experience with Android/iOS mobile application development
• Experience working in Agile or Kanban methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional proficiency with multiple game engines
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest mobile gaming trends
• Ability to translate general design ideas into technical practices
