Software Engineer, Fullstack

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Python or other modern languages to power AI Platform products.
• Develop and evolve REST APIs, ensuring robust request validation and clear contracts between frontend and backend.
• Work with relational and NoSQL data models including MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
• Build real-time UI features for conversational interfaces, including chat streaming and dynamic layouts using Svelte.
• Implement WebSocket pipelines to handle streamed data and manage state for streaming UIs.
• Deliver end-to-end features, owning both the backend logic and the frontend implementation.
• Write automated tests using pytest, Vitest, and Playwright to ensure high code quality.
• Debug production issues across service and UI boundaries using logs, metrics, and browser DevTools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of professional fullstack development experience in a production environment.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern UI framework (Svelte preferred; React, Angular, or Vue acceptable).
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs and working with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of asynchronous processing patterns like queues, workers, and retry handling.
• Proficiency with Docker and familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure.
• Strong testing discipline and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
