Software Engineer - Full Stack

Responsibilities

• Contribute across the complete software development lifecycle including work estimation, architecture, design, coding, and automated testing
• Take ownership of delivering system and application enhancements
• Break sizable tasks into manageable units with level-of-effort estimates
• Partner with fellow engineers to design and document strong technical solutions
• Help remove obstacles for the development team alongside the Product Owner and technical leadership
• Maintain productive Agile and Scrum practices

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with REST API development
• Proficiency in Python or Java
• Experience with SQL and Web Development
• Experience with Django or JavaScript (Angular, React, etc)
• Object-oriented programming in Python, Java, and JavaScript
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Version control with Git and GitLab
• Experience architecting and delivering complex software systems into production
• Knowledge of Agile development and CI/CD tools and practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Front-end development with React
• Knowledge of software architecture patterns such as Client-Server and MVC
• Multi-cloud experience (AWS, IBM Cloud, Google Cloud, Azure, or Oracle Cloud)
• Experience with AWS services (S3, SQS, SNS, EC2, CloudFormation, RDS)
• Experience as a Scrum Master
• GEOINT domain experience
• AWS DevOps Engineer certification or similar
