Software Engineer - Full Stack

Edra is a Series A startup backed by Sequoia that builds AI agents designed to learn and execute specific company processes. We are a deeply technical team of engineers and AI researchers focused on making AI useful in the real world through robust platforms and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build platform systems in Python (FastAPI) including API contracts, database schemas, and infrastructure
• Develop high-quality user-facing experiences using TypeScript and React
• Build shared TypeScript and Python libraries, component systems, and internal tooling
• Own tasks end-to-end from context gathering to production deployment
• Contribute to product direction and interface decisions in collaboration with design teams
• Build and maintain connectors, integrations, and data pipelines for external systems

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• High proficiency in Python and TypeScript
• Strong experience with database schema design and data modeling
• Experience building libraries, SDKs, or internal developer tooling
• Ability to work through ambiguity and own problems end-to-end
• Interest in greenfield development and building foundational systems
