Software Engineer - Front End

Edra is a Series A startup backed by Sequoia that builds AI agents designed to learn and execute specific company processes. We are a deeply technical team of engineers and AI researchers focused on solving complex enterprise AI problems.

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality user-facing product experiences using TypeScript and React
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and product design
• Own work end-to-end, from gathering context to driving tasks to completion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and AI experts
• Influence technical direction by choosing tools and establishing conventions
• Debug backend issues as they arise during day-to-day development

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• High proficiency in TypeScript with a focus on strong typing and documentation
• Strong visual and interaction judgment
• Experience building libraries, SDKs, or internal tooling
• Ability to work through ambiguity and own problems end-to-end
• Interest in greenfield development and building foundational systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Next.js
• Strong React fundamentals
• Experience building APIs, libraries, or design systems
