Software Engineer, Fraud

Responsibilities

• Own and build fraud detection and prevention systems across multiple fraud surfaces, including identity and platform abuse
• Partner closely with product and engineering to define a fraud roadmap and prioritize high-leverage problems
• Design and implement tools, workflows, and backend systems to detect suspicious behavior
• Establish visibility into fraud patterns, operational risk, and prevention system effectiveness
• Drive large scopes of work independently within ambiguous, fast-moving problem spaces

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals
• Ability to operate autonomously and take ownership of ambiguous problem areas
• Practical approach to balancing speed, security, and user experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on fraud or abuse prevention
• Ability to translate patterns and threats into product and engineering roadmaps
