Responsibilities

• Lead engineering on critical customer projects, owning scope, sequencing, and delivery.
• Ship high-impact features including net-new product capabilities and framework gaps like APIs and exports.
• Partner with core product teams to influence the long-term platform roadmap.
• Communicate directly with customers to diagnose problems and translate technical trade-offs for executives.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills with ability to work across the stack.
• Proficiency in Python (backend) and React/TypeScript (frontend).
• Strong product instincts and judgment to push back on poorly scoped requirements.
• High customer empathy and crisp communication skills.
• Ability to work with speed and urgency while maintaining a high quality bar.
• High ownership mindset to diagnose and fix problems with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a product engineer or full-stack engineer owning features end-to-end.
• Prior founder or early-employee experience.
• Experience with procurement, finance, ERP, or AP automation systems.
