Software Engineer

About the Company

Forus is building an AI-powered network that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma to accelerate new science to patients. Our platform automates the complexity between a doctor prescribing a medicine and a patient starting treatment, including insurance coverage, financial assistance, and supply chain navigation.

Responsibilities

• Own large parts of the product surface area and drive relevant roadmaps
• Drive zero-to-one product development from conceptualization through production
• Build new features and products top-to-bottom including front-end, back-end, and system design
• Participate in client engagements to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Establish and improve engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale the codebase
• Automate complex workflows for insurance coverage and affordability programs
• Combine AI/ML approaches for document classification and data extraction
• Build state machines to drive system decisions and handle failure modes

Requirements

• Strong programming skills and general Computer Science knowledge
• Relevant engineering experience at fast-growing product-driven companies
• Proficiency in Python, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Track record of moving quickly and delivering on goals
