Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain large and complex web-based Java applications
• Contribute to all phases of the development life-cycle
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
• Ensure software delivery meets system specifications and quality requirements
• Develop technical and project documentation
• Investigate and present new technologies for architectural review

Requirements

• MSc or BSc degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development lifecycle using Java
• Experience with Web services, RESTful services, JSON, and XML
• Experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with application servers like Wildfly, Thorntail, or Spring Boot
