Software Engineer - Engineering Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage technology assets, vendor onboarding, and compliance with technology controls.
• Act as the primary liaison between engineering teams, business units, and software vendors.
• Source information from technology teams to execute the software onboarding process.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure technology meets business needs.
• Identify compliance gaps and convert them into actionable engineering requirements.
• Collaborate with internal governance to identify software onboarding risks and automate remediation of recurring issues.
• Maintain subject matter expertise in software functionality, architecture, and company procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with Cloud Architecture, SaaS, and DevOps.
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with third-party risk oversight, sourcing, or vendor management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes (e.g., cloud, AI tools).
• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Vendor Management tools.
