Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based stress analysis templates, including composite plate buckling and classical laminate theory
• Create and own a scalable loads database system for stress analysts and design teams
• Implement aeroelastic solution sequences within custom-built loads analysis tools
• Build reusable, well-documented libraries for multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) workflows
• Partner with mechanical and aerospace engineers to translate analysis methods into production-quality software
• Build flight dynamics simulation tools and interfaces for GNC, loads, and flight dynamics analysts

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or development
• Substantial experience in Python, specifically building engineering or scientific computing tools
• Background or familiarity in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Fortran
