Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including processing-intensive analytics and real-time systems
• Work with teams to gather information and design/configure monitoring tools
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements
• Resolve software problem reports using appropriate development methodologies
• Provide input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and requirements analysis

Requirements

• Current or active security clearance with Polygraph
• 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar programs
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 5+ years of additional experience)
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Python
• Experience with AWS cloud services (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora PostgreSQL)
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration (Jenkins, GitHub, CodePipeline)
• Experience in Agile software environments
• Ability to work onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial cloud services, preferably AWS
• Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
• DevOps and CI/CD automation expertise
• Experience with Angular or Vue
