Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with best-in-class trading tools for Cumberland and FICC options trading desks
• Take full ownership of products from prototype to stable production
• Embed with trading desks to learn problem spaces and build ergonomic, performant engineering solutions
• Build, maintain, and extend the central trading platform
• Work with both greenfield and legacy systems across multiple languages
• Provide on-call support as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience using Python, Java, or C++
• Track record of working directly with end customers to deliver production systems
• Experience in financial markets, specifically delta one store of value or FICC options trading
• Experience with Linux-based, concurrent, high-throughput, low-latency software systems
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work comfortably in multiple programming languages
• Experience with functional programming
