Responsibilities
- Work with best-in-class trading tools for Cumberland and FICC options trading desks
- Take full ownership of products from prototype to stable production
- Embed with trading desks to learn problem spaces and build ergonomic, performant engineering solutions
- Build, maintain and extend the central trading platform
- Work with both greenfield and legacy systems across multiple languages
- Provide on-call support as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience using Python, Java, or C++
- Track record of working directly with end customers to deliver production systems
- Experience in financial markets, specifically delta one store of value or FICC options trading
- Experience with Linux-based, concurrent, high-throughput, low-latency software systems
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work comfortably in multiple programming languages
- Experience with functional programming
