Software Engineer, Diagnostics

Responsibilities

• Develop a Diagnostics Tool to interact with core products and upcoming R&D
• Interface with vehicles and the End of Line team
• Perform unit testing and ensure high-quality software delivery
• Design and execute test cases for verifying diagnostic functions across ECU and system integration levels
• Develop functional and software requirements for model-based and hand-coded implementations

Requirements

• Automotive software engineering experience (UDS, CAN, ODX)
• Heavy proficiency in Python and C++
• Strong understanding of Diagnostics and Unit Testing
• Experience utilizing diagnostic services (UDS) on Ethernet, CAN, and LIN
• Knowledge of standard automotive diagnostic tools like CANdela Studio
• Experience troubleshooting and validating diagnostic functions on hardware/vehicle platforms
• Familiarity with Safety processes such as ISO 26262

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Android Mobile development
