About the role
About the Company
Humanoid is on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. Their HMND-01 Alpha platform is already running in real industrial pilots.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship production-quality software for platform infrastructure, including backend services and automation tooling
- Contribute to device identity and security, including cryptographic chains of trust, secure boot, and disk encryption
- Collaborate with firmware, applications, cloud, and manufacturing teams
- Utilize modern AI-assisted coding tools and agentic development workflows
- Manage certificate lifecycles and key management infrastructure
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, TypeScript, or Rust
- Proficiency in using AI tools for research, development, and testing
- Comfort working in Linux environments
- Ability to work on-site in San Diego, CA
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with secure boot pipelines and fleet-scale cloud infrastructure
- Strong technical communication skills
- Experience with device attestation and cloud enrollment
