Software Engineer–Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web applications using AWS infrastructure
• Translate customer requirements into software product designs and architectures
• Manage the full agile software development lifecycle, including planning and reviews
• Coordinate the optimization of software products for complex systems integrations
• Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure software reliability and efficiency
• Research and implement emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools
• Lead software project management activities and monitor supplier performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Active Top-Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI eligibility and an adjudicated polygraph
• 5+ years of experience in foundational Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience with Python
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience with React frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• 9+ years of related work experience in engineering, physics, mathematics, or computer science
• Experience leading projects or individuals through the software development lifecycle
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
• 2+ years of experience with Agile or SAFe practices
• Familiarity with relational databases and infrastructure tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with systems engineering for space-based or ground-based systems
