About the Company

Exa is an applied AI lab building a search engine unlike the world has ever seen. We build massive-scale infra to crawl the entire web, train state-of-the-art embedding models to process it, and design super high performant vector databases to retrieve over it. We now power search for Cursor, Cognition, HubSpot, and over 400,000 developers.

Responsibilities

• Create and demo viral applets that showcase how Exa’s search powers next-gen applications
• Create high-quality API documentation, including advanced interfaces like GPT-4 chat with documentation
• Manage social media relationships with the developer community
• Organize and execute high-impact hackathons

Requirements

• Strong engineering background with ability to ship high-quality applets in React and Node
• Deep understanding of the developer community and current technical trends
• Experience building and shipping tools or projects that have achieved viral success
• Engineering experience with API design and implementation
• Ability to wear multiple hats including frontend, social media, marketing, and support
