Software Engineer, Developer Experience

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the engineering team to find friction and remove it
• Drive CI runtime down through parallelization, caching, sharding, and test selection
• Own the deploy pipeline including progressive rollouts and fast rollbacks
• Manage the build toolchain including bundlers, compilers, and monorepo tooling
• Harden the software supply chain using SBOMs, signed artifacts, and GitHub Actions hardening
• Build CLIs, GitHub Apps, and bots to improve developer workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years building developer tools, CI/CD, or platform infrastructure
• Deep expertise with GitHub Actions, Apps, APIs, and merge queues
• Strong fluency with JavaScript/TypeScript build and bundling tools (esbuild, swc, Vite, Turbopack, tsc, pnpm)
• Experience with profiling and optimizing across the stack
• Experience with supply chain security (SBOMs, Sigstore/cosign, SLSA)
• Strong opinions on safe and reliable production deploys
