Software Engineer - Design Systems

About the Company

Easygo is responsible for building and scaling the shared UI foundations that power our products. The team focuses on evolving design systems to support scalable frontend engineering practices, improving developer experience, and enabling rapid, consistent delivery across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions
• Optimise existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Actively engage in hands-on coding and development
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5-6+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and NextJS
• Experience with UI component libraries like Storybook
• Experience with monorepo architectures (e.g., NX) and micro frontend patterns
• Proven track record of building design systems or complex user interfaces
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience establishing developer ecosystem communities
• Experience with server-side rendering frameworks like SvelteKit
• Exposure to building global, large-scale volume products
