Software Engineer - Defense Tooling

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core features of defense tooling products to ensure robust performance for defense-grade workloads
• Collaborate with US-based product and engineering teams to deliver features on shared global roadmaps
• Contribute to system-level design and architecture, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance
• Mentor and lead junior engineers to foster technical growth and team success
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes to maintain high product quality
• Engage with customers in the autonomy and defense domains through technical meetings and presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience building simulation platforms, ML training infrastructure, or developer tooling
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++
• Experience with reinforcement learning frameworks and/or simulation engines
• Excellent English communication skills for daily collaboration with US-based teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ATR, drone swarming, path planning, or aerospace control systems
• Experience in the aerial domain and unmanned autonomy stack development
• Experience with closed-network or air-gapped deployment environments common in defense
