Software Engineer, Data

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the full data stack, combining data engineering and data analysis
• Partner with backend engineering to design and implement large-scale data models and pipelines for Data Lake and Data Warehouse
• Design and maintain robust ETL processes with a focus on data quality and automated monitoring
• Partner with data scientists to implement feature engineering pipelines and support experimentation workflows
• Build intuitive internal tools and dashboards for operations and growth teams
• Drive the collection of new data and refinement of existing pipelines
• Analyze large datasets to extract insights and inform product engineering roadmaps

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong command of Python, Golang, or Java
• Proven track record in data pipeline development using Airflow, Flink, or Dagster
• Production experience with real-time data streaming platforms like Apache Kafka and Flink
• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, Redshift, or PostgreSQL
• Strong data visualization skills using Tableau, Superset, or Looker
• Sharp analytical skills focused on market dynamics and consumer insights

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience spearheading data engineering initiatives for a high-growth consumer platform
