About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and scale systems that ingest and process large volumes of financial data
- Architect data lakes and build multi-tenant relational databases
- Investigate and implement search engine and vector database setups to support various workflows
- Develop foundational platforms for accounting workflows and agentic systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with data systems at high-growth companies
- Familiarity with web development, relational databases, and distributed systems
- Ability to work in-person 5 days a week in downtown San Mateo
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data pipelines
- Experience with mission-critical systems such as fintech
- Experience with complex workflow engines
