Software Engineer, Data Governance

Responsibilities

• Architect and build the next version of core access control and governance systems
• Design and build data governance features including fine-grained permissions, auditability, and policy enforcement
• Work closely with Product Managers to drive projects from idea formulation to implementation
• Build scalable, secure-by-default frameworks foundational to infrastructure
• Mentor engineering talent while fostering strong security values

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience building and maintaining distributed data systems and cloud-based platforms
• Knowledge of data governance, access controls, and platform auditability
• Strong development background in Python
• Demonstrated ability in technical execution
• Located in San Francisco and open to working in office
