Software Engineer/Data Engineer Internship

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of engineers to develop high-quality software and scalable cloud applications
• Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, and testing
• Build resilient and highly available applications using optimal cloud technologies and frameworks
• Design technical solutions to solve complex problems at scale
• Build iteratively using agile methodologies

Requirements

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
• Solid Python coding skills
• Experience working with cloud technology (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Experience working with data science and engineering pipelines
• Comfortable with written and verbal communication in English
• A strong desire to learn and expand your technical skill set

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Databricks platform
• Knowledge of Java and/or Scala
• Experience with SQL, including writing and optimizing queries
• Experience with geographic information systems (GIS)
• Experience with MLOps platforms or the Spark engine
