Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable Java-based applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Architect GenAI solutions using Semantic Metadata strategies to enhance data retrieval and model context.
• Develop and integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to standardize data exchange between AI models and data sources.
• Build and maintain backend services using the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and write comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality in both Java and Python-based AI implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and architectural solutions.
• Mentor junior team members in Java, Python, Spring, and the evolving GenAI ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on Java-based technologies.
• Proven experience building and deploying GenAI applications.
• Proficiency in the Spring Framework.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing or implementing MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
• Knowledge of Semantic Metadata standards and vector database indexing.
• Proficiency in Python for AI orchestration, scripting, or backend services.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
