Software Engineer, Cortex AI Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Build and scale orchestration engines for complex agentic workflows
• Develop high-performance systems for RAG, including vector database integration and semantic caching
• Build automated infrastructure for massive-scale simulations and error analysis pipelines
• Productionize AI workflows into hardened, multi-tenant microservices
• Implement system optimizations for model routing, prompt caching, and token optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 4+ years of industry experience with distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, or ML platforms
• Deep proficiency in Python
• Strong experience with Go or Java
• Understanding of database internals, distributed state management, and cloud-native architecture
• Familiarity with vector indices, agent platforms, and data pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in a technical field
• Familiarity with C++
• Experience with Kubernetes or FoundationDB
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or XGBoost
• Experience with query optimization and SQL engine internals
• Experience designing multi-tenant systems for sensitive enterprise data
