Software Engineer, Control Plane

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable microservices that power the Crusoe Cloud control plane
• Implement IaaS primitives to ensure high throughput and low-latency API responses
• Partner with Product, Networking, and Storage teams to implement differentiated cloud solutions
• Improve observability, testing coverage, and reliability of distributed systems
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to team documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in a modern compiled language (Go preferred, or Rust/C++)
• Experience building and deploying distributed systems or managed cloud services
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Postgres
• Understanding of cloud resource abstraction (Compute, Network, Storage)
• Strong communication skills regarding technical trade-offs
