Responsibilities
- Hold and enact strong opinions about architecture to deliver both SaaS and on-premise products
- Build out large portions of backend services
- Define and solve fundamental problems to improve core product metrics like autocomplete acceptance rate and codebase retrieval accuracy
- Design thoughtful abstractions to underpin the product and potentially serve as open-source standards
- Perform various tasks required to accomplish the startup mission
Requirements
- High proficiency in TypeScript, Go, or other transferable languages
- Experience scaling systems for stability, maintainability, and developer experience
- Interest in AI engineering or machine learning
- Ability to simplify and make trade-offs to maintain high velocity
