About the Company

Commure is building the AI Operating System for healthcare, providing a platform that spans the full care journey from Ambient AI to autonomous RCM processing. The company supports over 500,000 clinicians and handles billions in annual claims.

Responsibilities

• Develop existing backend and frontend services for the Athelas device product
• Architect and build robust, scalable back-end services
• Translate product requirements into technical solutions
• Implement cybersecurity best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and regulatory functions
• Utilize a stack comprising Python, Flask, React, Postgres, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure system stability and performance
• Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Professional software engineering experience with proficiency in Python
• Deep expertise in developing and managing data pipelines
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational database management systems
• Advanced knowledge in Containerization and Cloud Services (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Demonstrated expertise in building, scaling, and maintaining production environments
• Advanced skills in system monitoring, alerting, reporting, and metrics tracking

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or interest in embedded software engineering for Linux-based IoT medical devices
• Experience with hardware interfaces such as GPIO, camera control, or serial communication
• Experience or interest in the design, training, and optimization of computer vision models for blood diagnostics
