Software Engineer, Codex Security

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end product features for Codex Security, including developer-facing interfaces, APIs, backend services, and workflow tooling
• Own ambiguous 0-to-1 projects across product pods, platform security controls, and cyber model infrastructure
• Translate security research and model capabilities into intuitive workflows for finding, validating, and remediating vulnerabilities
• Design scalable, observable systems for long-running security analyses across large codebases and enterprise environments
• Partner with product, security research, and infrastructure teams to iterate quickly based on real-world feedback

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to work across the full stack (product, backend, and infrastructure)
• Experience building developer tools, workflow-heavy platforms, or internal infrastructure
• Proven ability to own complex projects from concept to production in a fast-moving environment
• High agency and strong product instincts for making technical systems useful and understandable
• A deep interest in the intersection of security and artificial intelligence

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in product security, application security, or vulnerability research
• Experience with defensive security, identity, SSO, or secure developer workflows
• Experience building scalable cloud-based security analysis pipelines
