Software Engineer - Cloud

Responsibilities

• Build a compute delivery platform that integrates a GPU offtake market with orchestration software for high-performance computing hardware
• Develop user-facing APIs that integrate control plane primitives with the compute market
• Design scheduling algorithms that translate marketplace contracts into hardware allocations
• Extend the interface between the orchestration service and hypervisor to support new virtual machine provisioning capabilities and lifecycle operations
• Translate product ideas into design proposals and iterate based on feedback

Requirements

• Experience with systems programming languages such as C, C++, or Rust
• Strong understanding of command and control patterns, including control loops, reconciliation, and state management
• Proficiency in SQL data modeling
• Experience implementing APIs using gRPC or REST

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep experience with Rust
• Previous experience working at or founding a startup
• Experience working on large-scale distributed scheduling problems
