- Design and build development and production platforms to enable reliability and security at scale
- Ensure core infrastructure can scale to the next order of magnitude
- Maintain and operate the systems that power products like ChatGPT and the OpenAI API
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical incidents and ensure system reliability
- Contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive engineering culture
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building core infrastructure
- Experience operating orchestration systems such as Kubernetes at scale
- Experience building abstractions over cloud platforms
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Comfort working with ambiguity and in environments of rapid change
