Software Engineer - Cloud Control Plane

About the Company

Humanoid is on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. Their flagship platform, HMND‑01 Alpha, is currently running in real industrial pilots.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production-quality software for platform infrastructure, including backend services and automation tooling
• Contribute to Cloud Control Plane and On-Robot Software, managing device provisioning, OTA updates, and telemetry
• Collaborate with firmware, applications, cloud, manufacturing, and systems teams
• Utilize modern AI-assisted coding tools and agentic development workflows
• Partner with senior engineers to own deliverables and drive technical growth

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, TypeScript, or Rust
• Proficiency in using AI tools for research, development, and testing
• Comfort working in Linux environments
• Ability to work on-site in San Diego, CA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS (Terraform, ECS, Postgres, S3)
• Experience with secure boot pipelines or fleet-scale cloud infrastructure
