Software Engineer - Cloud

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud solutions and deploy infrastructure
• Build and maintain robust backend services and REST APIs using Python
• Manage and administrate AWS accounts, including billing and resource optimization
• Coordinate with front-end developers and troubleshoot user issues
• Implement security best practices and use observability tools like Grafana or Datadog
• Utilize modern AI development tools to accelerate workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in cloud engineering or backend development
• Deep proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS)
• Strong Python skills for backend development and REST APIs
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction

Preferred Qualifications

• Active AWS Certifications
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, or C++
• Frontend experience with React
• Experience with Kubernetes or Aurora Serverless
• Experience building machine learning infrastructure and data pipelines
• Experience in defense-related government contracting
