Software Engineer, Client Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Design and build systems that make the desktop experience performant and stable
• Work across core architecture, including build and distribution systems
• Implement performance instrumentation and shared abstractions
• Improve reliability by eliminating memory leaks, crashes, and frame-time inconsistencies
• Design telemetry systems for profiling, structured logging, and performance measurement
• Partner with product teams to increase release velocity
• Evaluate Electron vs. native approaches for critical code paths
• Build internal tooling to enable safe and fast shipping on the client platform

Requirements

• Deep experience in client infrastructure, build systems, performance, distribution, or observability
• Experience building or contributing to high-performance desktop applications (Electron or native)
• Strong focus on performance, reliability, and developer experience
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving, collaborative, and product-focused environments
