Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and design new solutions for the technological backbone of a cloud-native capital markets platform
• Develop applications for Securities Finance, Futures, Execution Management, Risk, and Custody and Clearing systems
• Work across the full stack, including client-side usability and server-side elements like data storage and security
• Troubleshoot system performance and take corrective action to ensure resiliency and consistency
• Support and run mission-critical distributed systems in a production environment

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional experience designing and developing mission-critical distributed systems
• Proficiency in Java
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or a related field
• Experience troubleshooting system performance and supporting production environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of financial markets and different asset classes
• Experience with Golang, Python, React, AWS, Kubernetes, gRPC, Protobuf, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, or Docker
• Experience building high-performance financial systems
