Software Engineer - CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads across dev/test/prod
• Implement core Kubernetes platform capabilities including RBAC, networking, ingress, and autoscaling
• Package and deploy services with Helm/Kustomize using repeatable release strategies
• Automate environments with IaC and embed DevSecOps controls and GitOps standards
• Improve operability with strong observability and incident practices
• Partner with application teams to onboard and troubleshoot
• Harden the software supply chain and artifact flow

Requirements

• TS/SCI Clearance
• BS in Software Engineering or related field
• 2-10 years of experience in CI/CD and Kubernetes-focused engineering or SRE/Platform Engineering
• Strong Kubernetes skills including core objects, scheduling, and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Experience with Helm and IaC tools such as Terraform
• Experience operating container platforms (Docker/OCI) and registries
• Proficiency with Linux and scripting in Bash or Python
• Experience implementing security controls in pipelines
• Familiarity with observability tooling like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NGA CORE DevSecOps environments
• Experience supporting Kubernetes across multiple security domains in government/IC environments
• Hands-on GitOps operations with Argo CD or Flux
• Experience with policy-as-code (OPA/Gatekeeper, Kyverno)
• Experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd)
• Familiarity with compliance and ATO workflows (RMF/NIST)
