About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software modules for chassis dynamics, including drive-by-wire systems and active suspension.
  • Participate in software code design and reviews, error fixing, and problem-solving.
  • Debug and interpret vehicle data using tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, CAPL, PCAN, or CANtrace.
  • Develop machine control systems and corresponding control loops using system-supported processes like Polarion.
  • Create and automate test scenarios in collaboration with test engineers.
  • Integrate software modules from internal and external suppliers and define interfaces with electrical and mechanical teams.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
  • Experience in embedded software and system development, specifically with MATLAB/Simulink and C programming.
  • Consolidated knowledge of CAN communication and vehicle bus systems.
  • Proficiency with version control systems such as GIT or SVN.
  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS), AUTOSAR, and Ethernet.
  • Understanding of functional safety standards, such as ISO 25119.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international, agile environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
