Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance software infrastructure including message serialization, IPC, process management, and logging
• Debug failure cases using GDB, pdb, and valgrind
• Optimize software using profiling tools like perf and Callgrind
• Write custom CUDA kernels for GPU performance optimization
• Apply 3D geometry, computer vision, and robot kinematics to solve complex problems
• Handle geospatial data, georeferencing, and coordinate systems
• Work with point cloud data for 3D environmental perception
• Collaborate with internal departments including test technicians and manufacturing

Requirements

• Deep understanding of C++ and Python
• Experience using PyTorch and libtorch for robotics applications
• Proven track record of real-world deployment of autonomous systems
• Strong background in 3D geometry, computer vision, and robot kinematics
• Ability to work autonomously in low-supervision environments
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction (no sponsorship available)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Experience in defense-related government contracting
