Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work closely with both platform and application teams to develop, evolve, and operate modern cloud-native platforms.
• Provide hands-on development of Java-based services using modern DevOps principles.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of highly secure, mission-critical systems within the defense sector.
• Ensure high standards of quality, structure, and technical excellence in all deliveries.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java for backend and service development.
• Extensive experience with DevOps and cloud-native methodologies and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Proven expertise in CI/CD and pipeline development.
• Knowledge of cloud-native observability and logging tools.
• Ability to obtain security clearance for STRENGT HEMMELIG (Top Secret).
• Ability to work onsite in Oslo five days a week due to security requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience (senior profile).
• Minimum 2 years of experience combined with a background in the defense or security sector.
• Experience from previous military service.
