About the Company

Cape is America’s privacy-first mobile carrier. Founded in 2022, Cape is building a secure network from the ground up to provide users with end-to-end control of their digital identity and protect them from the vulnerabilities of legacy telecommunications infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate core telecommunications infrastructure to provide secure cellular service
• Take full ownership of the software lifecycle for foundational components of the telecommunications stack
• Maintain high coding standards through guidelines and active code reviews
• Build reliable, performant, and scalable systems to enable other product teams
• Develop systems to mitigate malicious signaling attacks and detect fake base-stations

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Fluency in a modern backend language such as Golang, Rust, Java/Kotlin, or Python
• Firm grasp of algorithms, data structures, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Active US Security clearance or eligibility/willingness to obtain one
