Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and grow the Agent Platform framework and developer-first APIs
• Design and implement tools for simple and powerful web automation
• Work with frontier AI labs like OpenAI and Google to improve models and benchmark capabilities
• Deploy production-ready AI solutions impacting millions of customers
• Define, scope, and prioritize projects for developer tooling
• Document technical processes and share knowledge with the team

Requirements

• Strong coding skills, preferably in TypeScript; Python or Go is also valuable
• Experience building developer tools, frameworks, or libraries
• Experience with AI agents, LLMs, distributed systems, or reinforcement learning
• Familiarity with web automation frameworks such as Puppeteer, Playwright, or Selenium
• Track record of open source contributions or public developer projects
• Ability to work 5 days a week in the San Francisco HQ

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP)
• High agency and ability to drive projects independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
