About the role

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a 24-month rotational development program consisting of four customized rotations within the Power Solutions division
  • Support change request management, requirements engineering, and system/software architecture design
  • Develop, analyze, and debug low-level and application software for Powertrain Control Units (engine, fuel cell, or battery)
  • Execute delivery testing to ensure software quality, safety, and compliance
  • Analyze customer-reported issues and lead root-cause investigations to resolution
  • Prepare technical documentation and presentations for internal stakeholders and customers
  • Engage with executive and peer mentors for professional coaching and career guidance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field with a controls focus, received within the last 2 years
  • Minimum of one completed internship, co-op, or six months of relevant full-time work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with international teams across different time zones
  • Willingness to relocate multiple times within the U.S. and potentially complete an international assignment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Programming experience with Embedded C, Python, Matlab, or C++
  • Passion for automotive embedded controls and knowledge of engine, vehicle, or battery controls
  • Hands-on experience in roles such as SAE, Formula, or Baja
  • Previous exposure to software development and testing
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
