Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build resilient APIs, libraries, and services to power financial services including clearing, settlement, and digital asset lending
• Own functionality and scalability features from inception through deployment and customer integration
• Expose and document functionality for UI, third-party developers, and internal/external tooling
• Collaborate with engineering teams and product managers to ensure technical requirement accuracy and work quality
• Provide mentorship to peers through code reviews and education on engineering best practices

Requirements

• Experience with server-side languages such as Golang, TypeScript/Node.JS, Java, or Python
• Experience developing or supporting financial accounting systems (e.g., general ledger or bookkeeping)
• Proficiency with SQL databases like MySQL or Postgres
• Strong skills in RESTful API design, unit testing, and functional testing
• Experience with Git/GitHub, branching methodologies, and CI tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
• Strong interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 3 years of back-end, server-side software development experience
• Experience with microservices and service-oriented architectures
• Experience with large-scale, real-time, and distributed applications
• Familiarity with Containers and Kubernetes
• Background in the financial industry or experience with digital wallets and trading systems
